Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Know high profile seats
Let me tell you that all the parties have started preparing for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. In this sequence, the ruling party Bharatiya Janata Party has released the first list of its candidates.
The first list contains names of candidates for 195 Lok Sabha seats out of 542. There are very high profile names in these 195 seats. Let us know about them.

- Gandhi Nagar – Amit Shah
- New Delhi – Bansuri Swaraj
- Amethi – Smriti Irani
- Lucknow- Rajnath Singh
- Gorakhpur – Ravi Kishan
- Azamgarh – Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirhua
- Kota – Om Birla
Apart from the Union Ministers, the name of the former CM is in the first list. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will contest elections from Kota seat only. Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia will contest from Guna.
Former Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan will contest elections from Vidisha. Former Tripura CM Biplab Deb will contest the elections from Tripura West.
Union Minister Kiren Rijiju will contest from Arunachal Pradesh West, Sarbananda Sonawal from Dibrugarh, Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya from Porbandar.
Union Minister of State for Defense Ajay Bhatt will contest from Nainital, Udham Singh Nagar, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat from Jodhpur.
Apart from this, the name of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla is also in the first list. Many surprising names have also appeared in the first list of BJP.
Representation of all sections of society visible in BJP candidates first list
BJP National General Secretary Vinod Tawde said that out of 195 candidates, the party has given tickets to 27 SC, 18 ST and 57 OBC candidates.

Women representation 14.3%, OBC 29.23%
The party has given 14.3 percent representation to women in this list.
Whereas OBC is 29.23 percent, SC is 13.8 percent and ST is 9.23 percent. Along with this, the party has fielded 24.01 percent candidates below 50 years of age.
Whereas the combined representation of OBC, SC and ST in this list is 52.3 percent.
