UP GBC 4.0 program
PM Modi will be the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of the fourth edition of the ground breaking ceremony in Lucknow on Monday. Let me tell you that under this, UP will create a new record of development and employment.
Let me tell you that in the first phase of UP GBC 4.0, bhoomi pujan of more than 14 thousand projects worth ₹ 10 lakh crore will be done.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the government is moving on the path of making Uttar Pradesh an enterprise state.
Monday will witness the bhoomi pujan of the country’s biggest investment under UP GBC 4.0. This program will be held in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
In the first phase of Ground Breaking Ceremony (UP GBC 4.0), many big projects will be started in 8 aspirational districts.
In this, projects worth more than Rs 1,57,651 crore in aspirational districts will be launched. This is more than 102 percent of the overall target.
These projects will start with the ground breaking ceremony on 19 February 2024 Monday. Due to which, successful efforts are being made by the Yogi government to bring 8 districts of UP into the mainstream of development.

UPNEDA achieved more than the target
According to Anupam Shukla, Director of Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA), GBC 4.0 will benefit projects related to solar energy, bio energy, pumped storage projects (related to hydropower) and green hydrogen.
These 182 projects will become the vehicle of major change in the energy sector in Uttar Pradesh. He told that the department had got a target of 1.25 lakh crore for GBC.
The department has achieved 104 percent more than the target. It has succeeded in bringing projects worth 1.30 lakh crore to the ground.
UP GBC 4.0 : Impact of CM Yogi’s efforts
Along with the development of Uttar Pradesh of India, the demand for energy is also continuously increasing. The risk of environmental pollution has also increased due to limited traditional sources of energy and their exploitation.
In such a situation, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is continuously making efforts to increase the production of energy based on new and renewable energy sources.
It is the result of the efforts of the Yogi government that the way for setting up big projects based on solar energy, biomass and small hydro power is now being paved.
Work is already being done in the direction of grid combined solar power generation and roof top power generation in the state.
Now, with the investment of 1.30 lakh crore in this sector, not only UP will become the hub of renewable energy. Rather, the possibility of employment generation on a large scale has also increased.
