Two cases of Narcotics Jihad in Kerala have been reported in a single day. In this case, Kozhikode Police has arrested a three-member gang who committed robbery by threatening a doctor with a sword.
The arrested accused include E K Muhammad Anas (26) of Mattummal House, N P Shijindas (27) of Gowrishankaram, Kunnamangalam, and Anu Krishna (24) of Paroppady.
According to media reports, the incident took place on Monday morning in a lodge near Kozhikode railway station. The three accused reached there and committed the robbery by threatening the victim doctor at sword point.
According to the information, the accused met the doctor on Sunday and after finding out about him, they reached the doctor’s house early in the morning with weapons and threatened him and demanded money.
But, when they came to know that the doctor did not have cash, they forced him to pay Rs 2500 through UPI. These people are playing the dirty game of Narcotics Jihad in Kerala.
It is said that all three accused were drug addicts. But he did not have money to buy drugs so he chose the path of robbery and theft. After committing the Jihadi crime of Narcotics Jihad in Kerala, Mohammad Anas and Anu Krishna wanted to flee to Delhi.
But all of them were caught by a team of District Anti-Narcotics Special Action Force led by Town Police Inspector Baiju K Jose and Kozhikode Anti-Narcotics Cell Assistant Commissioner T P Jacob in an operation. Motorcycle, mobile phone and a sword have been seized from them.

Second case of Narcotics Jihad in Kerala
In another similar drug smuggling case, Aarthi Girish (29) of Chakkakkakal Movenchery has been caught by the police in Tripunithura, Ernakulam.
Both of them were arrested from an apartment near the railway overpass on Thripunithara Refinery Road on Sunday night.
Along with this, the police also arrested another Islamist named Bilal Muhammad (34) along with the woman from the house of a person named Munna in Kollam Kilikollur. Police seized 22 grams of methamphetamine, known as MDMA, and ganja from them.
