Maharana Pratap Lok: Will be established in Bhopal

Maharana Pratap Lok will be built on three and a half acres in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Discussion was held on preparations for the foundation stone laying ceremony. The statue of Maharana Pratap will be installed in the heart of the capital. Its foundation stone will be laid on 28th September.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan discussed this with senior officials of the state Rajput community at Samatva Bhawan, Chief Minister’s residence on Monday.

The Chief Minister said that the foundation stone laying ceremony for the grand Maharana Pratap Lok being developed as a memorial of the brave Maharana Pratap will be held on September 28 in the Smart City area, the heart of Bhopal. This memorial will be developed in an area of three and a half acres.

After receiving information about the preparations for the Bhoomi Pujan program, Chief Minister Chouhan also gave necessary instructions to the concerned officials. He discussed the foundation stone laying program with the officials of Rajput community.

The Chief Minister said that the foundation stone laying program is being organized in plot number 44 of Smart City near Tatya Tope Nagar Stadium. In which more and more society members and citizens are being invited.

He will be recognized as the grand and divine Maharana Pratap Lok. Which will also be an inspiration and symbol of bravery for the coming generations. The Chief Minister said that the information about the contribution made by Maharana Pratap for the protection of religion and society will reach the youth.

Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar also praised this initiative taken for Maharana Pratap Lok.

On this occasion, ministers Bhupendra Singh, Govind Singh Rajput, Usha Thakur, Arvind Singh Bhadauria, Brijendra Pratap Singh, O.P.S. Bhadauria, Rajyavardhan Singh Dattigaon, State level Deendayal Committee Chairman Rampal Singh and officials of Rajput community were present.

Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap: Brief information

• Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap is the grandson of Mahavir Rana Sanga and son of Maharana Udai Singh. He is immortal in history for his bravery, bravery, sacrifice, valor and determination. He was born on 9 May 1540 in Kumbhalgarh, present-day Rajasthan.

• On May 30, 1576, a fierce battle broke out between the huge Mughal army and the Ranbankuri Mewari army in the field of Haldi Ghati.
• In the war, Maharana defeated the enemies. But the Rajput army could not stand in front of Akbar’s huge army and Rana Pratap had to take shelter in the forest. But he never accepted Akbar’s slavery.
• Except Chittor, Maharana again snatched all its forts from the enemy. Apart from Chittorgarh and Mandalgarh, the Maharana re-established his rule over the entire Mewar.
• Pratap made Udaipur his capital. After this the Mughals challenged Maharana several times. But the Mughals had to face defeat.
• Due to injuries sustained during war and hunting, Maharana Pratap became immortal forever on January 29, 1597. He was one of the eldest sons of Maa Bharati.
• Maharana Pratap’s policies became a source of inspiration for everyone from Shivaji Maharaj to freedom fighters.
