  • Delhi’s electric buses have the capacity to cover a distance of approximately 250 kilometers on a single charge.
  • GPS, CCTV, panic button, and safety features have been provided in these buses.
  • The battery pack of this electric double decker bus EiV 22 of Switch Mobility has a capacity of 231 kWh.
  • Liquid cooling is used in this
  • Digital ticketing will be used in this.
  • Passengers can use an app called Chill to pay the fare.
  • After paying the fare, passengers will get a receipt on their smartphone and can also book their tickets using the smart card.

Benefits of Delhi’s electric buses

Their share in the buses used in public transportation in Delhi is a little more than 10 percent. Last year, electric double decker bus service was started in Mumbai.
