P Madhavji Memorial Day– The 36th death anniversary of P Madhavaji. Who left a unique mark as a respected early campaigner of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. An eminent social reformer and an all-round Tantric teacher.

Temples were transformed into living centers of social unity in just a decade and a half without even being able to light the wick.

P Madhavaji realized that the strength of the temples is not in the buildings seen from outside. But in the perfection of the spirit that must exist within. And created strong generations of young priests for it.

Under the active leadership of eminent teachers like Kalpuzha. A two degree level study program called “Tantraratnam” was devised. And implemented in Tantravidya Peetha for this purpose.

The role played by Tantraratnam Azhakath Sastrasarman Nambuthiripad in advancing Madhavaji’s life mission. As a student in the first group and then as a teacher. Patriarch and many times as president there is invaluable.

Kozhikode Tiruvannoor Kovilakam P. K. Madhavaji was born on May 31, 1928 in Uthradam Nakshatra to the son of Manavikraman Raja and Savitriamma Palakal Ammutty.

He started studying Sanskrit and Astrology at an early age. Gold medal for graduation from Madras Christian College.

One of the first campaigners of the Rashtriya Swayamsevaka Sangh from Kerala in 1946. Worked as a campaigner in Kannur, Alappuzha, Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam.

P Madhavji Memorial Day – Pioneer of temple conservation

In 1962, Pallath Narayanan blessed Namboothiri with full initiation into Srividya. Active leadership since 1968 in Malabar Pradesh Temple Protection Committee started by Kelapaji.

In 1977, the activities were expanded under the name Kerala Temple Protection Committee. In 1972 Tantra Vidyapeeth was started. He became the chief organizer of the historic Vishala Hindu Conference held in 1982.

In 1984 Kshetra Chaitanya Rahasham was published. He was the driving force behind the legendary Pallium proclamation on August 26, 1987 at Chendamangalam Pallium Palace.

Dated September 12, 1988. P. Madhavaji’s biography is yet to be written. Similarly, a collection of his complete writings also needs to come to light.

Simple life, moderate food, high thinking, constant learning, selfless service, excellent service – this is the lifestyle of P Madhavaji. The lamp of wisdom that he lit continues to shine, shedding light on generations.
