How to block stolen phone?
To block the phone, first open CIER (Central Equipment Identity Registry) on your device. Now a page will open in front of you. Here you will get a form.
It will have 3 sections, which include Device Information, Lost Information and Mobile Owner Personal Information.
From these, select the Device Information section and now you have to fill in the information of the lost or stolen device like mobile number, IMEI 1, device brand, model number etc. After this go to the Lost Information section. Here enter the date of theft of the phone, district, police station, police complaint number etc. After that go to the last section and fill the device owner name, ID proof, email ID and mobile number etc.
After this tick the box of Declaration coming down and click on Get OTP option. Then an OTP will come on the number you have entered. Now enter the OTP and then click on the submit button given at the bottom. After this you will get a Request ID number. Through this you will be able to unblock IMEI later. In this way you can easily block your phone.
