BPSC 68th Apply Online: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has started the application process for the 68th Combined Preliminary Competitive Examination on its official website bpsc.bih.nic.in and onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in. There will be appointments on 281 posts under this exam. The vacancies that will come before PT will be added to it. The last date of application is 20 December. This time the provision of negative marking has been made in the exam. But for how much it will be, the candidates have been asked for their opinion in the form. Three options are given. The option which more candidates will choose. The same option will be implemented in the exam. That is, this time the candidates will see these options new in the application form. Depending on the number of applications, the exam may be conducted in more than one shift.
Important things during application
Submit the online examination fee only after the candidate is satisfied with the details like name, date of birth, examination fee, etc. Keep the e-mail, mobile number and user name and password given in the online application safe with you.
Uploaded photograph and signature should be clearly visible. The format of the photograph and signature should be jpg jpeg. Size of signature photo should not be more than 15 kb and size of own photo should not be more than 25 kb.
Keep at least five copies of the photos you are uploading while applying. If necessary, deposit the same on the demand of the commission.
After submitting the finally filled online application, the candidate must log in again at the same time and download the filled application from the Download Filled Application section available on the dashboard and print two copies of the same. Make sure that the Registration Number, Bar Code and Submitted Application Number are printed on each page. It should all be on it.

2. Educational Qualification required for the posts
Candidates having graduation from any discipline can apply. However, for District Fire Officer, graduation in science stream or graduation in fire engineering or engineering in mechanical/automobile is necessary.
3. There will be time till 10 days after the last date of application for correction on any type of error.

5. Dates of BPSC 68th Recruitment Exam and Result (BPSC 68th Exam Result Dates)
The 68th preliminary examination will be held on 12 February 2023. Its result will be released on 27 March 2023. The main exam will be held on 12 May 2023. The result of the main examination will be released on 26 July 2023. The interview will be released on 11 August 2023 and the final result on 9 October 2023.
6. Selection Process
Candidates will be selected on the posts through preliminary examination, main examination and personality test.
5. Physical Ability
For Bihar Police Service, District Commandant, District Fire Officer posts, male candidates should have a minimum height of 5 feet 5 inches and a minimum chest measurement of 32 inches without expansion. The minimum height of women should be 5 feet 2 inches.
6. BPSC Prelims Exam
This time 150 questions will be asked in BPSC 68th PT. All these will be objective type. See you in two hours. There will be negative marking. Candidates 10 times the vacancy will be passed in this. Candidates who pass in this will sit in Mains.
7. The main written examination will be of three subjects. There will be two compulsory subjects- First General Hindi – 100 marks. It will be mandatory to score 30 percent marks in this subject. But its marks will not be added in the merit list. Second General Studies (Paper 1 and Paper 2) Each paper will be of 300 marks. Apart from this, every candidate will have to choose an optional subject whose paper will be of 300 marks. The list of optional subjects can be seen in the notification. The examination of each subject will be of 3 hours.
8. The candidate has to select the optional subject at the time of filling the online application of main subject only. There will be no change in it after selection.
9. Successful candidates in the main examination will be called for interview.

10. Merit List
The reservation category wise result will be issued by preparing the list on the basis of 900 marks of main examination and 120 marks of interview out of total 1020 marks. In case of equal marks, the candidate with higher marks in Mains will be placed higher. If the marks in Mains are equal, then the marks in the optional subject will be considered.
